I'd like to hear what a Snow Drift sounds like with a Fingerprint Noir circuit in it. :snax:

I screamed out loud when I saw that Snowdrift on Reverb today - didn't even last 2 hrs!

Also, there are two Malekko B:assmasters on MGR at the moment? I don't know the score w/ these, but they're

Image
$159 + $15 shipping (MGR Minnetoka, MN)

&

Image
$169 + $15 shipping (MGR Columbus, OH)

No LEDs on either one, so if any experts know if either is germanium, please speak up :poke:?

Akai Tom Cat is MF's stupid deal of the day. It's almost universally reviled, but hey -- it's an analog drum machine for $99.

:idk:

Does anyone still buy Timefactors? :idk:

https://reverb.com/item/3298826-eventide-timefactor

Code 'vetsday16' gets you just over $70 off a Moog Cluster Flux. (doesn't work on any other Moogerfoogers)

According to...? I've actually seen fairly positive reviews for the Tom Cat. Just going off the amateur reviews on merchant sites, it averages about a 4.0 out of 5.I think it gets a negative rep by proxy from other recent Akai missteps like the Timbre Wolf & the Rhythm Wolf. You're not going to get a lot of features, but it seems like a decent supplement for well under $200.

Damn, missed the Tom Kat. Saw it last night but figured I would snag it early morning as I usually get up at 4. Stupid sleeping in for once. Hope someone grabbed one. Killer deal.

The LED on the B:assmaster is below the surface of the plastic face plate. They all look like that.

Great pedal, BTW. (mine is silicon)

Those Snazzy prices are totally ridiculous. I owned the Tracer City and the Wow & Flutter, but I couldn't justify keeping them for half of what Roger is asking. They were interesting pedals, and I appreciated Dan's work on them, but you could do similar sounds for a lot less money. For $400 you could get an envelope phaser and a versatile filter (which would be more compact, more portable, and easier to interact with). For $600 you could get a filter, phaser, and a tremolo, which would far surpass the various sounds found in the TC.

The thing that irritates me the most about these particular listings is that Big City was an authorized Snazzy dealer while they were in production. Roger is trying to be the West Coast Armens, which is where you deliberately hide your stock from customers, and then after sitting on your products for a couple of years, you unveil them with ridiculously inflated prices. I've tracked the Snazzy pedals fairly extensively, and I've seen multiple units sell in the past year for $450 or less on Reverb. They're not easy to get, because they're bought in under 24 hours, but I've never seen any units selling north of $600. For a dealer to take pedals off the shelves just to unveil them later at nearly double their original retail price is absurd.

Yeah, it's interesting that a set of all 3 is available suddenly out of nowhere. Do you happen to know what they originally went for?
