I LOVE collecting CDs. I've only really been doing it for a bout 2 years, but I'm closing in on 60. I also jumped on a 60% off deal with Hydra Head and got 30 CDs from them for $40. If I got any duplicates I may be willing to part with them for cheapsies...

Also, heard the new "Kyuss Lives!" track... They're going by Vista Chino what with the lawsuit and everything. I don't remember the song name either; it was okay, but I wasn't thoroughly impressed either.
Good Deal List: bearbeams, pena_55, sonidero, greyscales, ChetMagongalo, xchristophex, Monkey Boy, krautrocker, osbornkt

I doubt you'll get any duplicates in the box--not counting retail/promo.

Haven't heard the new VC track yet, but I'm a huge Bjork/Garcia fan so my fingers are crossed.

Also glad they had to change the name from Kyuss Lives!
good deals are here.

I hope no one was hurt. It would be rather ironic to die from a church steeple falling on you.

I used to collect CDs. I have over 200, but I've stopped recently. The price increase, the influx of digital downloads and how easily assessable they are, and my computer's disc drive breaking—which meant I had to find shared files of the albums I bought anyway—has forced to me to temporarily give up on it. It's the same thing for movies. I have over 200 DVDs, but the price increase, even with the decrease in Blu-Ray prices, has led me to relax a bit and only buy films I know I'll love and watch multiple times. I'm also more into high definition these days, so I'd rather save up a little more and buy Blu-Rays instead.

A friend of mine is interested in an Orange OTR120 for £400. What's the story on those amps? Is that the amp CaptainBoxman has that caused him endless heartbreak?

Nothing quite as awesome as a crazy cult and/or second coming of Christ story.

We have entirely too many movies. For the past couple of years I've been doing about the same as you - only buying really memorable movies that I know I'll watch multiple times. But around the holidays I always drop cash on random movies I want when they are on sale for like $3.

Yeah, £2 movies are a nightmare. You just buy all of them and sometimes don't get round to watching them for months.

So I think we can logically deduct that GOD HATES CHURCHES. It's science.

Jeezus fuck I want one..... but I NEED presets because theres so many cool sounds.... I could finally start a legitimate noise grind band and have shit tonnes of fun... if only it had presets. I just fear a digital version might not sound as analogy sweet.

1997 – ORANGE OTR HEAD & COMBO
This amplifier is the Overdrive 120 4 x EL34 enhanced by eighteen modifications. Introduced in 1997, OTR stands for Oscillatory Transition Return. The OTR 80 is the 2 x EL34 version. The very early models featured the letters OTR on the front panel in a much larger font.

“Sound modifications suggested by Noel Gallagher gave the Overdrive more sparkle*, and they formed the basis of the new OTR.”

Hey errybody - go buy ASG's new album. It's pretty fantastic. Plus the vinyl looks all kinds of snazzy.
