Joking aside yeah, I love them to bits and I'm always excited for new stuff from them.

Haha yeah I love them as well and took my username from them :P. I've seen them the last 4 or 5 times they've been in Toronto and am seeing them again when they play a free show in June.

I love the national stuff, especially the alligator album. Saw them at the metropolis in montreal, they had this awesome bass sax as a guest and he was circle breathing and just blowing the shit out of that sax.....mr November is a great tune too... Welcome to ilf!

I wish I loved Oceanic as much as I love Panopticon.
The water symbol would make such a killer tattoo

This thread is so much fun. We're all here cos of the fuzz, and most of us can agree on broad topics - I mean, pose the question "Is the Elements rad?" and wherever you're coming from you'll answer "yeah". But this music thread is so all over the place. There's stuff that's new to me and I'm like "wow, I gotta start listening to this", and then there are old favourites and then there's stuff where I really wonder what people get out of it. Sometimes with the stuff I really don't get I wonder if it's like whiskey, coffee, olives and a whole bunch of other nice stuff that in the beginning tastes like crap - maybe I just need to listen to some of these tracks on repeat and eventually I'll get it to? In any case, props to such variety!
