Am I going to see Meshuggah in less than 8 hours time?
Did I buy a crate of beer for pre-concert socialising?
Is the beer called "Lawn Mower"?
Does it taste like crap?
Is it cheap?
YES!!

These guys are absolutely incredible. I wish more bands had vibraphonists.

DUDE. Oh my god. I was in a xylophone ensemble for two years during college and that part of me is FREAKING OUT right now. Vibraphones are amazing instruments, their timbre is so pleasant and can get so dirty with certain harmonies. Also, Jazz/T-40 hybrid bass is cool as fuck and the bassist is sick. Also also, violinist using a cello bow? Also also also, drummer is grooooving.
Wow. Seriously, thank you for this.

I've wanted to play the vibraphone ever since seeing Tortoise live, it just works so well with rock instrumentation.
Same with glockenspiel, the drummer from Giraffes? Giraffes! plays that like a boss.
I love the rhythmic contrasts in this song as well, especially at that end part where the bass gets all dirty.
Glad that you guys enjoy it!
