Pic taken minutes before I blacked out. That's the first time I've been blackout drunk since I was 19. My dog dies and I go all country and western 'n shit.

A) That thing rules

B) If Patton died, as he will eventually, I will bring on a drug and booze fueled rager unlike anything I have before. And that's saying something, because I'm a Southern boy who's been known to cause a ruckus.

I love that your dog's name is Patton.

Please tell me you currently/previously own/ed a british bulldog named Churchill.

The last few dogs that have been in my family have all been named after secondary characters in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series.

It was really demanding of the audience the way they'd start a jam, build it up and the kind of taper out again. They were great, but it would have been much more enjoyable if I was ripped and could have sat down to watch it, as one of my mates said. Unfortunately it was a school night and I had to drive as Brisbane's public transport is terrible and pretty much stops before shows finish. I did dig the hypnotic kind of psych stuff the were doing (Emil is a groove machine) but I was hanging out for more monolithic fuzz riffage. They played a little bit of Bhima's Theme, which is my second favorite of theirs (flight of the eagle does it for me,personally), but there wasn't a lot of that going on.
I've only ever seen them with Ampegs, obviously getting the greens down here is out of the question.
That pyramid gig sounds like the fucking tits though.

I read up on that Manson page for like a line and just couldn't be fucked. Those people are just time wasters and oxygen thieves.

Also, Skip, stop posting shit about your friggin Skyhammer! :p

See, the thing is, when Om are on they're fucking incredible:

That was the GiG tour, and At Giza was the cream-gasm encore. Note the tube heads and the stacks of amps (and Al's short hair. That was weird.) One of the best shows evvvur.

Awesomely enough, they did tour here on that record, and it was amazing. I'm not saying that the current material isn't good, its just worlds apart from their other stuff. I guess after the riff-fest that was the GiG tour, expectations were that this tour would be of a similar ilk.

Captain, that is cute.

Conky, that's cool.

We had strarted naming pets after Metalocalypse characters in our house. We have a cockatiel named Toki. My wife named his female partner Steggles, because she is all white and looks like a tiny chicken, which I thought was kind of cruel.
I had an ugly as sin black moor goldfish I named murderface, but he became a victim of the nitrogen cycle.

Yus. Agreed entirely.

Also, Metalocalypse is excellent. The heaviest album ever must be recorded at the bottom of the sea.

I heart Meatalocalypse. I saw Dethklok on tour with High on Fire and Mastodon. They far exceeded my expectations live. They pretty much stayed in synch with the cartoon playing behind them.

When is that show coming back for season 5?

I'd check stubhub and the other "its not scalping really its not ok it is" sites as the show gets closer. Also ebay and craigslist.

Should I be measuring for volts with my cab?
The wire inside is rated for 50 volts.
I'm concerned because I've never heard volts mentioned before.

the insulation on the wire can be rated for an amount of voltage, since the insulation has a breakdown electric field.
