No, that rumor has been said about numerous different people. Along with the swallowing so much jizz that they had to get their stomach pumped. Hell yeah dude!!! I saw them once years ago at a festival around here. I respect their talent and quite impressive catalog but having listened to them for years I've grown tired and bored with their music.

Only a volume control? Sounds like a slave amp! He most likely had a preamp either on his pedal board or located somewhere else. I've considered going this route before, especially after I got my skyhammer-pre.
