This video is actually what convinced me to get the ED2.

Hi I'm Lubdar, I'm the builder of these pedals. Somewhat of a shameless self promotion here, but if you've been considering the apocalypse but looking for a lower price then this is the way to go. It basically is a clone of the apocalypse, but with some personal flavor tweaks. It cannot do the SCOOP setting. Which is in general a low output setting by itself with a notch applied, however with the frequency adjustable notch filter and the reverse beta stage, you have a more versatile SCOOP setting anyway.

My main goal for this pedal, was to be a more user-customizable Apocalypse from the get go.

Not only is the auxillary filter a nice addition, but for both the Octave and Gainiac stage you can adjust the internal trimpots to dial in the amount of gain that you want. My DBA apocalypse is nice, but the GAINIAC setting almost always requires me to turn the drive control way down to get something a little more tame.

I've got a similar prototype I built with different filters and the addition of clipping diode selection, and different fuzz options (no octave stage, but a heavy bass boosting stage).

Best,
Lubdar

:hello: Looks good.

Since YouTube is generally the extent of my mainstream media socializing, do you have a YouTube channel I can subscribe to?

(Yeah, this thread's really for other people's stuff that you find for sale. I started a thread about your stuff: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=53862 )

with "rare" original strings from the 60's. At least I know I'm not the laziest about changing my strings.
