Yeah, that's a terrible mistake if you've been invited for a spot of buggery and you think it means tomfoolery. CHRIST.
Also, the exams are going fine so far. Yesterday was actually ok. 1 tomorrow, then a week until my last uni exam EVER.

DS1? Sonny had a great mod thread on FB doom room or something.
Charity contest just broke 1300.
More prizes to be added
Agreed. on the acrylic body. i'm sure i could get used to it, but it felt so weird and fake at first. He used to have an acrylic dan armstrong though, so he's into them.
Pumped the charity contest is doing well!

I put a DS-1 on my bass board...

If its an consolation its a Keeley Ultra mod that i left in ultra mode.

Sounds pretty sick actually.... even doing finger blasts it still hard articulation and a nice amount of grit. I have to admit... I kinda like it.

I always wanted to buy one just to have around. Because Kurt Cobain, and that's pretty much it. If one pops up for like $20 on my criagslist I'll probably pick it up.

I love non American English slang. So. Much.
Other things I wanted to say that shockingly don't involve quotes:
1. I'm really looking forward to the new Kylesa album
2. I really hope my finances work out and I can enter Nick's charity raffle

If you can, find a Keeley mod one. The ultra mod makes such a huge difference. Without it its got this weird mids thing going on that completely colors your tone, but the ultra mod makes it sound more like an OCD circuit, but with way more gain. If you can find one for 20$ you should get Sonny to mod it up like Nick said.

I had one on my Mi**ian bass board. It ruled. The only reason I don't have it anymore is because it was stolen off of Nathan's board in Germany on one of the WITTR tours.

What settings did you run it on if you don't mind me asking and if you remember? And thats pretty fucked, I have no sympathy for what happens to gear thieves when they get caught.

You should totally start cloning a bone stock DS-1 in a fancy etched enclosure just to see how much praise it would get and how much you could charge for it
