Dude. Not sure how you live through all those leg tats. Both of mine hurt like CRAZY when healing. I can handle anything on my arms, back, etc. but my legs are wicked painful. How do you do it, dear tough guy?

I AM MADE OF PURE UNADULTERATED MAN MEAT. HENCE MY CUTE LITTLE DESIGNS AND OH SO MUCH PINK.
murrrrrr dunno? legs don't hurt that much for me. the color on this was like 3 hours and i was pretty much DONE the last half hour, but that's about where i hit my limit everywhere?
funny you say that though. the one on my left leg, the hair growing back was worse than the healing, this one has been super achy butts everytime my leg goes jiggly wibbly.

I only have two tats on my legs. One on one calf, and one on the other. One is a zombie from the movie Zombi by Lucio Fulci, so of course I'm more proud of that. I'm not proud that I flew all the way to Manhattan, New York to have it done and then have it re-done a year later from a serious infection that almost caused me to have parts of my gastrocnemius removed (after 3 rounds of fucking antiobiotics!).
But the point is my leg tattoo hurt more than ANYTHING I've ever had done.

Dude. I have one tat on my right thigh and one on my left calf and both hurt SO MUCH. The actual tattoos were bad, but the healing process was killer both times. I actually had a limp with my calf tat because every time I stood up blood rushed to my leg and ached liek the end of the world.
Further proof I am not made of unadulterated man meat...

Hahahaha! And you shouldn't be! LOL
My leg was so bad that my hip is now permanently messed up. I had to go to a trainer and work for about year to get my hips back in any kind of shape because a I had over compensated so bad on the left side. I have permanent nerve damage there. It really, really sucks. Some days it will be all knotted up for no reason and hurt, this is like 5 years later.
I don't have any problem (not that anyone asked) with outing the artist too because he's a fucking asshole and told me that it was my fault somehow. Took no responsibility for it.
My tattoo artist, who I've had for years and trust, told me the only way the damage that occurred to me could have been cause was with a frayed needle. Meaning the needle would go into my leg and shred as it came out. I had no idea why I was bleeding so much with this tat, but figure it was because he was heavy handed. It was not, it was because he didn't care that he was fucking me up.
His name is Lior cifer (not his real name obviously) and he was Paul Booth's apprentice at the time of my tattoo. He seemed nice in person, but was the biggest fucking asshole on the phone and did not care about what happened to me. If I run into him ever again, it will not be a good day for him. He cost me 2k.

meh. Pure Unadulterated Woman Meat is like 27‰ stronger anyways. GET IT GRRL.
hurrrrrrm. dunno. i might be lucky? the legs didna hurt to do, left one healed super quick and easy, there's a LOT of color on the right one so it feels like a solid piece that aches a little if i move too quick, but it's not horrific.
underneath of my arms was the stuff that made me tear up and cuddle with everything within reach.
my grrL gets a pretty tender yarea done tomorrow. first one she's had from my artist, i have been warned to expect punching and bitings. ADVENTURE!

That is simultaneously one of the most benign and the dirtiest pieces of body art I've ever seen.
10/10 would Behnd again.

Oh shit. Yes to that. I have one on the inside of my arm near my elbow and that skin bruised so so badly the next day.
And my shoulder piece has a little branch that is very close to my armpit and that was also torture.
Best of luck to your lady and her tender bits : )

My lady wants something near here sternum / solar plexus.
I totally support her but also warn her of the craziness of that pain.
I want heavy black work with influence from Frank Stella's Black Paintings.
Starting on my chest piece, over the shoulder, and down the back, Mmmph.

I don't say this very often but don't do it. That won't translate well and you'll more than likely regret it later on. Huge black pieces, like solid ones like that, generally end up looking like crap a few years later. Of course you probably won't listen to me.

Which is fine too. lol
I want to get my whole chest done, have to cover one piece on my left pec, but I think I can incorporate it in the biomechanic sleeve I have. The chest fucking hurts, but so does under the arm. UGH. And the elbow is probably the most brutes ever other than the webbing on your fingers.

Looks like crap as in the solid black itself? Like it ages inconsistently or something? I really like the aesthetic of solid blackwork but have not done a lot of research on how those pieces age.
I do know the lines with negative space would have to be wider than they are in the photo I posted, cuz that shit would bleed instantly
