Currently taking bets as to which generalized concept we'll declare war on next.

Definitely the "War on Democracy".

Especially since Trump keeps encouraging Mitch McConnell to exercise the "nuclear option".

Mitch, use the nuclear option on democracy.
Song title concept for my Minutemen tribute.

So color me amazed that I actually agree with Trump on something like this, just exiting out of an endless war with no philosophy behind it because it's costly and shows that we need to re-examine our priorities with armed conflict. But I still think it's funny that he just decided on his own with no planning or consultation, which keeps me firmly in the "Trump is a dumbass who is horrible for this country."
Yup. Broken clocks are right twice, and in this case Trump is right for the WAAAAYYYYY wrong reason, and the collateral damage from a sudden, unplanned, whiplash pull out will not be pretty, especially for the other parties involved not named "Russia" or "Assad." Plus the EU is worried about another huge wave of refugees, which could serve as a catalyst to further destabilize the bloc and ignite more nationalistic ideologists:

Honestly, I think the Trump thing would be to pull our military out then suddenly announce that he's launched a nuke or something wild like that.

Notice the wording of this Tweet though:

I'm hoping he, personally, has reason for being in Syria after the Trump "Presidency".
Also, we have shutdown! in:

We should move on to the compromise solution already: Cardboard cutouts of President Shitshow from the Pacific to the Gulf, providing an affordable but strong deterrent to anyone entering this country. I’ll bet he’d find that beautiful and artistically designed.
