Jammed some drone with the dude that ended up with this guitar and my jaw dropped the second he opened up the case.
Thing sounds fucking incredible too...he ran a hartke 300w SS bass amp, dual blues drivers, an Alesis Midiverb 3 and some two other pedals through my 4x12 with DP12as and I ran the Meat Hammer through an Ampeg 8x10...ended up creating a pretty coherent, bleak dronescape with some sludgy black and doom parts rearing their ugly heads throughout.

It's funny you bring up firearms, its a 3 paycheck month for me so I get my lil biannual bonus of a free paycheck and the first thing I'm doing is going out and buying a shotgun. WalMart has a nice all black Maverick 12 gauge for 200$ that my coworker is highly recommending to me. So I'm gonna pick up that and pay off some bills. We've had some really weird shit going on in our neighborhood and I need to have protection at my house while I'm legally still allowed to have it.
I don't know about Maverick shotguns but if you put another hundred bucks on it you can find a Mossberg 500. The Mavericks are owned by Mossberg I think and are supposedly built just like them. I don't know about their reliability but when I was 12 my dad bought me my first shotgun. I have never had a single misfire or jam with that thing. I've read online that some Mavericks have reliability issues and in a home defense setting I'd personally wanna spend a little more knowing I was gonna have the reliability. That being said, I haven't shot a Maverick but I have held a couple and they seemed ok.

Virginia has got some weird gun laws, I'm fairly certain I won't pass the background check for a handgun but I'll have no problem buying the shotgun..... and agreed on the best home defense weapon. If you can't clear a room with 5 rounds of buckshot somethings wrong. Plus it won't go through the walls like a 9mm or .223.
As long as you aren't blasting intruders with slugs or .00 buck shot you're good. When you get a shotgun unscrew the cap off the end of the tube at the bottom and remove the plug. You can fit two extra shells in there then. Just remember to put it back if you plan on going hunting.

Awesome - If I get my finances straight I'm definitely hoping to enter/donate for such a good cause.

Me too. I missed out on this since I haven't really been on the internet much lately. I get paid tomorrow and if I have a little extra left over after paying bills and buying Mother's Day gifts I'll get down on this.

Take $500 and arm your entire family with Mosin-Nagants.
Volley fire some fucker out of your house with 70-year-old rifles. Comes with a bayonet for close combat, too!
Plus, it doubles as any tool you currently happen to need.
