Yeah I don't have the energy for the flip, and I already have a decent enough sample set that I couldn't justify having it. The 707 samples really thrive when you have the ability to change their pitch, it's a shame the OG unit can't do it.

I have both and they are worth it. go for it!
(I also have 606 808 909 and still love the 7s)
