The thing is - in my mind, at least - this is still the "correct" price for these amps. All this shit that got popularized in the last decade because it was cheap, is now expensive because it became the sound of like, budget doom metal. But they didn't sound like $800 amps, they sounded like cheap, loud amps. /rant

word up.
Those are $500 amps. But flippers and supply/demand bandwagon trendies inflated the prices :grumpy:

Anyway.
This looks like a very fun guitar & great candidate for sticker collage

That lead me down a weird path of insanely priced recording equipment. Strange world.

Intriguing, and cool-looking for $68 shipped:

It can get some really weird delay and reverb effects as well as some manually controlled flanging and weird dive-bombey type stuff. Great for spicing up recording with trippy sounds. It is definitely something easier to dial in through just experimenting as all the knobs in some way or another interact with each other. The bottom left and right knob adjusts the flange, but with the switches in specific directions it actually turns into a delay and adjust the repeats of delay (getting you that divebomb type delay oscillation). The upper right adjusts the depth/vol of the effected signal. As for the upper left, not entirely certain. Run a consistent audio signal into it and start moving the knobs around until you hit the sonic sweet-spot. (It sounds great running a signal from an EHX Freeze or SuperEgo into it). You can get some really interesting metallic-type overtones (especially prominent if you run some distortion into it) as well.

Who pinched that flanger? I remember the original listing like it was yesterday (or April, at least):
Hello! This pedal was hand-made by a friend and consists of a bastardized flanger pedal that was circuit-bent to generate interesting and dynamic flangey goodness! Has a cool vintage look and is a truly unique item that is priced to sell! Thanks for looking!
