Was outside the liquor store this morning right before they opened.
Watching multiple middle aged adults impatiently stomp on the mat outside the automatic door thinking it will open....

Kinda sad. I hate alcohol (yet imma be buzzed on wine tonight weeeeeee).

one of the saddest things i ever saw was when the Walgreens on Polk Street in SF opened up at 8AM on Sunday...i needed to get a pack of cigarettes, and there was an old homeless guy who entered the store with me and purchased a bottle of Scope mouthwash. he hurried to the counter before me and as i walked out fiddling with my Camel Lights i saw him open the bottle and chug it as if he was pounding a beer. i actually wished i had a real beer to give him.

um... it's how students on summer jobs in AK get drunk with all the local prohibitions and all... my friends went there, so they know
