Holy shit, an anime where the main protagonist isn't a high schooler! I'm going to start watching this right now. :omg:

Finished Angel Beats a couple of nights ago. It was cool. Really funny. Some touching moments of seriousnes. Good protagonist. Nice plot. Should've been twice as long, though; a couple of rushed moments.

The NHK mango is good too, would definitely recommend.
I liked the novel too, but after reading it again recently, the translation feels kinda stiff.

Jun and Ritsu are love. Apart from that I was disappointed that it wasn't more like Beck...
Confession: I'm the one that registered an account on the k-on wiki just to note that Jun plays an SBV-500.

You stud you.

Cha, I wasn't expecting it to be like beck at all. That show is something special, like FLCL level special. K-ON! Is it's own thing, I love it so much. I'm bad with names, but that bassist chick is my spirit animal.

K-On was the first anime I watched that didn't have some gnarly plot. After the first episode I thought, ".....yeah, I don't think I'm going to watch this." But then I kept watching episode after episode, and I fuckin' love it haha. Now I eat up all that moe garbage: Squid Girl, YuruYuri, Lucky Star, etc. That stuff is hilarious.

This pierced my soul:

I was, like, "This is it. This is the only person to ever understand me. A 15 year old anime girl." Got the body pillow and everything.

Kidding.

Lucky Star is the king of moeshit. The only others that come remotely close are Teekyuu and Acchi Kocchi.
I still have to watch Squid Girl though.

Yeah I was so glad when I decided I hated "Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?". It was like, if I kept watching that stuff what wouldn't I watch? I much prefer being crotchety and exclusive, helps me pretend I have taste or something.

I finished this today. I think it's the most unique anime I've seen yet. Kind of cool watching something realistic without extraordinary circumstances/events. The OFF meeting was fucking hilarious and depressing.

It's more of a kids show (in a good way), rather than just cutesy shit aimed at weird men. I like it, it's fun. :)
