Thanks duder! It's Eivind August's Possessed. But I want one now...no, I need one!!!

I've only had about 30 minutes to mess around with it, so I have not found this magical setting you speak of. I will have some time after my exam on Wednesday to really get to know it. Fondle it.

Just one thread over he says he could get by with only his Raptio.

Finally something I can replicate! haha.

Seriously though, did you get the moog to trigger the rattle crow in the 104z loop? It was giving me trouble when I tried. It was like too dark and quiet when I tried. Might mess with it some more.

Anyway, on a similiar note, this morning my setup was:

Silvertone 1445 > Rattle Crow > 46 > Beebaa > Moog 102 ring mod > Moog 104z delay > Thunder Boxx > Sunn Sorado.

Last night it was:

Phone > dirty microphone preamp > DOD DFX94 > moog freqbox > mixer ch1
LAL MNP-2 droner > Possessed > mixer channel 2
mixer loop send > DBA Reverberation Machine > loop return
LAL MNP-2 theremins > mixer chanels 5 and 6

I just figured out/remembered that you have to assign channels before you record to them on a tascam 8-track haha

I am a moron.

missed all my good takes over the last week or so.

Yeah it triggered just great, make sure the feedback is turned up? I had to turn the volume of the loop down because the signal was so strong. it was more of like a background gurgling more than anything else, but the signal level was easily loud enough to mix with whatever i was playing. in this demo i had it turned down moreso but you can hear it at the end. here's an example of what i was playing with.

I had the feedback up but I might of had the loop volume too high. It was the first 5 minutes I had it and I've gotten way better at dialing it in (little bit more involved than a boss dd or something).

I love the SPK. It's so freaking harsh and has good volume. Thing is a monster. That ring mod feedback you had going was freaking tops man. Some really badass stuff there man. Really Really like it.

I just want to mess with my LAL stuff all freaking day. haha. I gotta start getting good with my misty cave too.

thats awesome, the first five minutes with the moogerfooger and the first thing you do is stick a rattle crow in the f/x loop :!!!: i like the way you think :thumb:....I also had better results using the short delay time than the long I think. It just winds up being a cool texture to play over if you set the feedback high enough. Yeah the spk is so awesome, of all the pedals in the setup today It was the only one I had to turn the volume below 12 noon cause its so powerful. the misty cave and spk are so sympatico, they really bring out the best in one another.

glad you dug the sound clip, i was loving that pedal setup for hours on end...so many different ways to get amazing results.

Alright, so we got to kinda the same place with the Rattle Crow. Yea, it was more textural and I did seem more pronounced with shorter times (probably due to the brightness). I was looking for some chirps in my delay though haha. I might try some gristleizer in the loop someday. i think I tried stacking delays in the loop too and it just made mud...I gotta get in there and just make some stuff. haha. Gomorroah + Rattle crow wastes a bunch of my time though right now.
