this is my first experience with it, and i love my bubblefont, so i just wanted to keep it simple.
i haven't stacked it yet (unless you want to count the other muffs), but my noise is all about stacking distortions and fuzz's
so i will get there. as far as sound? i will do you one better:

a quick rundown though RMA Crustacean is the static source. first up is the new muff, then the bass muff, and finally the bubble font...

and i often don't record using an amp, i almost always go direct, but if i do amp, it's an earth sound research, so no amazing tones from that...

i will probably do another shoot out with another type of oscillator to give you guys a better idea.
i know it must be hard for some of you who aren't fine static connoisseur's

i can say a lot about the crustacean, easily the best piece of gear that i bought in the last 5 years...

i really want to buy a tetanus booster first, and then the crustacean is on my list. It seems like it would be great for so many things

Wow, just read on Youtube and saw a linked letter that Mike Matthews sent to a dealer as a "cease and desists" for intellectual property infringement. It was about the Wren and Cuff Eye See Pi. Seems like homie is going to be getting into some murky waters if he's not careful. That sucks.

Way too many builders with big ears in the clone market to interest me in rolling pre-existing designs.

I do wish I had nabbed an OE green Russian Muff when they were selling for $50 used.

heard first hand from a friend that the reissue is the tits. he's yet to compare it to his actual green russian muff though.

EHX is definitely a little too late to the party with this one. But still cool to have an actual reissue of a green Muff.

I already bought a Russian Pickle months ago, and it's the tits. Will be interested to hear some comparison videos of the two, though.

not only are they late to the party, but so many people have pedals that started as a big muff and they have built it from there giving it much more functionality tonally. it just doesn't make sense imho, but i'm a bit obsessed.
