That it took him that much time to do such an obvious work-alike of the Echoplex is just further indicia of the shallowness of his expertise. Especially when he was so clueless that he was sending them out with master tape for years. Stupid Maestro, stupid Roland—those fools were using lubricated cart tape, where world historic genius Mike knew better. Until years of problems caught up and he switched over.
