Wouldn't it be interesting, though, to find and agree on a sound clip or speech of whatever length and then do whatever we wanted with or to the audio. Kinda' like an Add Rhythm Sampler thing*, but with more bronzer and worse hair.

*TL;DR: some guy found a couple old records of rhythm tracks at a Goodwill or something, uploaded their contents to the internet, and invited his musician friends to do something with the tracks.

Anyway, yer submission doesn't actually have to be HNW. I don't really care one way or the other (think of it like a Dogme movie if it makes it easier: the rules are there to be broken). The title came from something I stole from UglyCassanova because I made a wall and wanted to talk about them and needed a name (you can find all of this info on page one, shockingly).

Pretty awesome stuff in that album. I'll try not to bring the property value of this one down too much.

I've been away this weekend and will have a busy couple weeks hanging out & playing since my bass player bud is home on vacation. So I'd appreciate a little more time, but might be able to make it if the deadline will be met by everyone else anyway.

What about setting the deadline at sunday August 21nd? Then we get another weekend to get shit done?

What is the specifics about sending in my track? PM it to dos? Any guidelines for how you like the file or whatnot? I know there was a decibel limit for the drone comp

24/44.1khz in a WAV or AIFF? -3db is a good standard for 'normal' music but it may or not apply to something like this depending on how you want to incorporate digital clipping.

Been slammed w work and feeling pretty pinched. It's looking grim--might have to throw in the towel but I'm maintaining hope...
