APTBS- A good idea gone horribly wrong.

a) I can't remember the name of the track, and I deleted their dreadfull album so I can't check, but the last track on that album the drummer cant keep time to save his life.

b) Fake accent. Seriously.

c) I heard some live stuff, and the delay onthe vocals was not only distractingly out of time, but mixed so the delayed signal was louder than the original. It sounded like someone playing two records at once, with all the bass removed. Which of course brings us to...

d) No low end on the record

I think I like Skywave better, thats what his old band ws, right?

Indeed, those are them. I prefer Ceremony (the remaining 2 members of Skywave's current name) myself. I can't say I have been impressed by what I've heard of APTBS compared to Ceremony, maybe it's because Ceremony just sound more like Skywave. Might try and dig a little deeper though.

Every time I look at the MBV pedalboard pics in this thread, I get insanely jealous. That said, I wouldn't even know where to begin with them, I'm only just used to using a fuzz and a delay...

Soundwave Breakdown. Yeah that things get's HUGE sound. You could probably find one on ebay used for about $200 if you wait. All though if your going to spend that much on a DBA pedal you can probably get that huge high gain destroyed sound with one of these:http://www.analoguehaven.com/deathbyaudio/soundsaw/

Yeah I know! I think it's an older DBA pedal because I haven't seen it anywhere, ever except on AH.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's an older one, Oliver uses one. I don't know about the build quality because I've never had one before but I'll let you know once I get my Supersonic Fuzz Gun. I know a lot of other reviews say the soldering job is sloppy but they last and can take a beating and they DO come with life time warranty, though I'd imagine it would take FOREVER because it's only like 2 guys. I'd trust the opinions on here better than any outside reviews though so :idk: .
