I will know more about production by the end of the week.Strange Tales wrote:Scott, someone on another forum said there is a rumor that this is going to be a pretty limited run only. Confirm/deny if you could please.
Thanks for letting me know man! I'm going to bleed a few more stones for preorder money now.multi_s wrote:I will know more about production by the end of the week.Strange Tales wrote:Scott, someone on another forum said there is a rumor that this is going to be a pretty limited run only. 856 will be released as only mono.manymanyhaha wrote:Hey Scott, you mentioned in an email to me awhile ago about a stereo looper that was sort a stereo ct5. Is that still something you are working on or is this that pedal minus stereo? Just curious! Thanks!

That's the name of our new band.multi_s wrote: but I talk a lot and release very few products it seems
You guessed the reason I wanted two ct5's was for stereo and said you had something in the works similar to a ct5 that might satisfy that desire.multi_s wrote:i may have talked about something else in the past (maybe "Hello Metric") but I talk a lot and release very few products it seems, so at this point i can confidently say 856, ct5 and one other smaller project will be the only new offerings until at least midway through 2016.

Right, well the 856 is not what i was working on/had in mind probably when i spoke to you. 856 is mostly the result of Nicholas who is a co worker/genius coming straight out of music tech at mcgill U, i just design the hardware and fab it. In the end i have spent most of my time in the last year just building ct5s and renovating a place to operate out of/develop manufacturing processes, so i haven't finished many new devices. Maybe in the second half of this year there will be more stereo/quadraphonic devices. We have now also another contributor who is ex-fairfield/moved to mtl to attend ETS, so the ball is rolling pretty hard on a something with that as well.manymanyhaha wrote:You guessed the reason I wanted two ct5's was for stereo and said you had something in the works similar to a ct5 that might satisfy that desire.multi_s wrote:i may have talked about something else in the past (maybe "Hello Metric") but I talk a lot and release very few products it seems, so at this point i can confidently say 856, ct5 and one other smaller project will be the only new offerings until at least midway through 2016.

Thanks for the info, you answered my question!
yeah I remember him, talked about codecs and stuff, super knowledgable!multi_s wrote: haha maybe. this is mostly the work of Nicholas to be fair, i think you met him that one time at eastern bloq, i just helped him with some general mcu info and made the hardware for his software.
