I broke pedge a bit. I traded a pedal that wasn't selling for a pedal I am much more likely to use or sell. I don't regret it, but I think it breaks the spirit of pedge.

Trades are higher order pedge I'd say, you're actually giving something up to get something else.

Why...? The idea is not to spend money on pedals, amirite? So if no money is changing hands, per se...

The trade value still counts as value that can be used towards whatever the goal is no loop holes

My goal was to not acquire new pedals, so it broke pedge for me. I'm trying to get out of the circle of acquisition and flipping.

Ok...absolutely, positively NO MORE purchases of effects pedals until I buy a laptop, interface, and DAW software. PERIOD.

Public shaming welcomed if I show up in any post with new gear other than the above. Grrrr.
