But seriously, it's self conscious it's made for entertainment and it accomplishes its goal better than any movie I can think of from the 2000s, thus, best movie of the 2000s. If you're looking for Citizen Kane, you need better taste in movies, because that sucks except from a technical point of view.

That's just like, your opinion man
Dont go getting defensive internet fingers and all passive-aggressive on me.
What one says matters as much as
how it is said. When a gushing opinion is framed as "objective" and falsely presented as an *obvious fact* it becomes fair game to be taken literally and scrutinized as such. I'm not using my opinion to justify anything, change anyone's mind or belittle them for liking what they like.
Cept D.o.S. because he's an angry old Mr. Wilson and I've got a water balloon with his name on it

Actually not being defensive.
What I just stated there is a fact.

That Citizen Kane comment is another hyperbolic, extreme backswing of the pendulum

See I'm not going to try dissing your taste in movies. You'd have to have some first, for that to happen

Well, then you fail to understand the concepts of objectivity vs subjectivity, fact vs opinion...defensiveness and irony.
What else?

Respect. We may have totally opposing views on this film, but I gotta respect your work man.

thank you very much, It was actually much more clean and brand new looking but that's not what I wanted after I was done, so I basically took some flat clear enamel and sprayed in circles to give it an appearance that I had sanded down to the raw metal.
and yes it's my day to day vehicle. I plan on doing as much as I can and still keep it street legal and comfortable to drive in. otherwise I would've probably took both doors off

See me not caring what you think about anything...including your ignorant disdain for *people like me* (whatever that means).
Also, it was your poor choice to engage me sideways by roundabout responding to something I posted, not the other way around.
You cared enough to followup, repeatedly...even beginning a sentence with "actually"...a bigger cringe than your lack of self-awareness.
Remember that in the future when you get your boring, forked beard in a twist over some silly shit I say.

^ Whole movie in black and white without dialog just the rest of the audio -- which is, according to the guy that made it, the best way to see the movie. Pretty fun.
