Old photo (I have an American Metal now too), and it's probably not as large as some other people's DOD collections, but...

Your FX86 looks a lot cooler than mine.

Thinking of adding a Meat Box to my collection. There's a reasonably-priced one nearby. Hm.

Also, are there any noticeable differences between the Corrosion and Metal-X? I've read that they're basically the same circuit, but I've read some posters on noise forums swear that the two sound significantly different...

Yeah, i want a Buzz Box and Meat Box also. But i won't pay those nutty prices...
None if my DODs cost more than 30 EUR, most even a lot less.

Corrosion is very good, esp. with a downtuned guitar. Never had the idea to do an a/b-ing of it with the Metal-X. I think they sound different but i can investigate this, if you want. But i'm not the noise/drone guy. I just play stupid guitar with them

Yeah, the Buzz Box and Meat Box are hella overpriced. There's an NOS Meat Box in a store in town for about half of what they usually go for on eBay. Might be worth buying. The Buzz Box cost me about $90, which wasn't cheap, but it was a total steal compared to eBay prices back then. The Buzz Box isn't a be-all-end-all pedal to be honest, but it does have its uses.

If it is a price below 100 EUR, ok, get it. Dibs on the flip :p
