Fuuuuuck
I really enjoy "New Ruins."theavondon wrote:His band, kidcrash, is also rad.
Sick. Thanks for the info!Holy Schnikes wrote:$1500 and he had it built and ready to roll in a month's time. He offered a "purchased together" discount price for a matching 2x12 cab too, says he'll extend the offer if I decide to grab one in the future, generous dude. The cabs are cool cuz they have the ability to run open or closed back, think I'm gonna get one eventually. Need funds first.insubordination wrote:Fuuuuuuck that's totally the one I want. How much was it (if I may be ungentlemanly and ask)?
All his amps range in price from $1500 to $2000, just FYI.
Indeed! He's got a couple other bands he sent me soundcloud links to cuz he used a Shiv when recording. Wild Guess and Dreamdecay I think they're called. Way different than kidcrash but very cool nonetheless.odontophobia wrote:I really enjoy "New Ruins."theavondon wrote:His band, kidcrash, is also rad.
Other stuff is fine but I really like that record.
They're really not bad prices, are they? I'm not sure how long they've been operating, but I imagine they'll have to raise their prices eventually. That's expectable and appreciable. For that kind of workmanship and aesthetic prowess, you'd definitely anticipate and understand higher prices. But the fact that they're affordable means they're hopefully going to carve themselves a solid niche, like Baron did for their high gain amps.Holy Schnikes wrote:$1500 and he had it built and ready to roll in a month's time. Yeah, the prices are really fair considering it's a small one-man operation. Well, probably two-manner cuz I'm sure he has a cab and headshell builder but yeah, cool take on some circuits I love, gorgeous build, great aesthetic. I def wouldn't be surprised to see those prices creep up a bit, esp on the high wattage offerings. Oh, he offers a buncha custom tolex options at no charge so that's pretty cool too.AngryGoldfish wrote:They're really not bad prices, are they? Like Verellen they're probably a company I'll never be able to experience. Still, pictures and schtuff is good enough.Holy Schnikes wrote:Yeah, the prices are really fair considering it's a small one-man operation.
