when is your draft?

my league drafts 2 nights before the kickoff thursday game. so im able to scout and shit well in time before the season.

i already have a healthy sleeper list. also i take notes on teams' strengths, weaknesses and shit. because im a handicapper. like i said.

It's the day before the ILF, actually.

So, uh, two weeks? (Side note: that weekend is going to be super social. Not glued to my computer at all.)

I've been trying to figure out how much to spend on errybody, 'cause I've never done an auction draft for the NFL.

Oh man, our keepers lock for my dynasty league tomorrow. This is the last year with limited keepers; starting next offseason, it's unlimited. My decision for the last two keeper spots is killing me.

It's an auction league with a $400 budget, keeper salaries goes up 10 bucks each year, but guys who were rookies can be kept for free. It's a PPR league, and we start 2 RB, 3WR, and 1 Flex. My keepers so far are:

Kaepernick
A Morris
Ridley
R Bush
R Cobb

I have 3 spots open to pick from

Blackmun
C Givens
D Richardson
R Hillman
A Brown
J Bell

I'm probably going to keep Blackmun, Givens and Richardson, but I think both Hillman and Brown are going to useful and Bell was awesome in PPR last year. I think he'll still catch a lot of balls even with Bush there.

The cool thing is that I completely blew the team up before last season, I so have a ton of guys who were rookies last year that I can keep for free (Kaepernick, Morris, Blackmun, Givens, Richardson and Hillman are all free to keep). That means I'm gonna have a ton of money for this years draft, and can basically take whatever new rookies I want.

Out of curiosity, which of this year's rookies are your favorites for a PPR dynasty league? I'm curious about Patterson vs Tavon Austin.

sorry i had to!

i really like chris givens but our league is all about the big play.

montee ball seems like the obvious answer for best keeper rookie, but i dunno. u can get back to me after preseason week 3, i will have a clearer picture onces i cram all dat tape.

mike wallace is literally the only receiver in miami. keller season ending knee injury. which means wallace will be looking at dbl triple coverage all season

Yeah I really like Givens too, and we don't get any sort of bonus for big plays. But I think he's the guy in St. Louis, I don't think Tavon Austin is going to be all that great.

Ball is gonna be fine, but I don't he's gonna catch the ball much and this is a PPR league.
