Btw, here's the time lapse that still is from. And it's also evidence of why I'm so pale for a Mexican. A full workday in a nutshell.
That looks fucking intimidating to me. Mind if I ask what the project was?

Eh, it's not that bad once you get used to things. That was a couple of live streams being broadcast out of Jazz at Lincoln Center. So the start of the video is me tweaking sounds before the live broadcast. That was the second night, so I already have sounds fairly dialed in from the night before, but I have an idea of what they sound like at full gear during the performance vs sound check. And then when you see me basically just riding faders, that's more of just riding levels for the actual performance. And at the end when you see me move away that is rough post production and editing for easier re-airing of the shows. It's probably about 8-9 hours time in that video.

Was digging though some old hard drives and I found my first drum recording ever from back when I was in school.
Greg Gilmore (drummer from 10 Minute Warning, Mother Love Bone, Jack Endino, and more) improvised a drum solo, while we triggered a mangled radio set to the local classical station from various pieces of his kit.
This is the first drum session I ever recorded and mixed.
