Nope. I'm gluten and dairy free and I can't have too many carbs... so why restrict myself further? I could see myself going pescatarian but damn, I love fried chicken and bacon. I could also see myself raising my own chickens for eggs and such too. I'm a protein fiend.

Speaking of which...one of my uncles really enjoys giving me shit for shopping at *health food stores* and buying fresh/organic/non gmo/non gluten etc...and the fact I take a moment to blot excess grease off pizza (or anything with melted cheese) prior to consumption.
I had kidney stones for Christmas, from eating/drinking too many oxalic acid-rich foods with calcium-rich foods, without drinking enough water...and he couldn't resist saying "well that's what you get for shopping at <insert store name> all the time"

Meanwhile, he's been struggling to adjust to his semi-recent diagnosis as a diabetic...having to give up food he loves....and observe how I eat whatever I want while maintaining low blood pressure/sugar/sodium

damn, that sucks about the kidney stones and the diabetes. and him being a shit giver. totally sucks when extended family members are annoying, trust me i know that WAY too well...
