Ya they should be rolling out within the month. I will update my tank here and my blog when I have some good to go.

notable changes are: improved sound quality, expression jack can be assigned to different parameters (but not mix), pitch shift can be quantized to chromatic intervals, actually 3 'modes' where 1 functions similarly to the original gb24 patch, the other 2 are new, name probably changes to 'four.five' instead of 'goodbye 24'.

Wow, that sounds great!
Will it have qauntized settings for octave down, octave down reverse, octave up, octave up reverse and possibly also a quantized regular reverse (non pitch shift) setting?

I think pretty soon.ski.
he also mentioned to me about possibly, and I hope I'm not giving away too much, revamping my V1 chip?!
"Yes the next Gb24 might not even be called that but it will have 3 modes. One is like that paper clip demo, one is like the pedal you have now and one is probably some sort of simple looper with a twist."

yes. Everything chromatically between +/- 1 octave in both directions.

Me too, although I think I'll let the other kids play with the toy this time. I'm still wrapping my brain around V1.

he can potentially upgrade our chips with a new patch after this comes out too, which I'm super stoked about :)*

Huh. I'm torn on stuff like that--while it's really cool, I kind of get psyched out by the "you can't go home again" aspect.

So how does that work? Can I potentially ship my V2 back and get the upgrades?
