Sweet bookcase, RSum. The asymmetrical design kills. Post the finished product for sure.

Dude, that is so rad. I converted a bunch of Ikea Billy bookshelves into a giant, modular assymetric wall bookshelf thing, but when I took away that shitty plywood they have on the back of the shelves I learnt that it was actually an integral part of the lateral stability of the stupid bookshelves. Put about 30 120mm um... I dunno what they're called in English. 90 degree metal corner joiny things. It was ok, especially loaded with books. But then a small child entered my life and I rated the shelving at 80% stability for responsible grownups, 34% for drunk grownups and 1.7% for crawling miniature humans. So it went to the great Ikea graveyard known as the dump. Have been hanging out for more assymetry in my life since then.

You got mad construction skillz bro, and a nice eye for design.

thanks guyss
one thing about my steady clients
they let me go nuts sometimes
this one was actually a prefab design
that the person was gonna buy
$3k unnassembled
i said i could do it no probs
and charge them time and materials
went from 3k + 500 for me to install
i did it for 1350+/- from scratch
and its built in
not all wonky with shims
also in pine, not bamboo
makes me love my line of work
the wallpaper im removing today
makes me dislike it
leaky pedastal sinks make me hatehate
