This is an odd one -- 1976 ram's head w/2n5087 trannies. Super tight sounding muff.

these go from v3 EH3003 ram's head in r/b box through a v4 (EH3003B), two v5 (EH1322 and EH3003) IC muffs, and an 81 EX3034 2n5088 trannie v6

As far as Sovteks what are the difference in the Civil Wars and the Green Box?? More Mids in the CW?

the Tall Font Sovteks are amazing, and have more sizzle and crunch to the high end than the Civil Wars.
The bubble font ones don't have enough gain in my opinion, but a lot of people like em so what do I know?
(but I have owned 4 of them, and they never cut it against the others. just always kind of meh/
this black one is pretty killer though, it has a TON of midrange for some reason; so its great live.

One of my bigbox blacks is like that--quite different from my other two black models, where it sounds almost mid BOOSTED instead of scooped...which makes it not only great live but huuuuuuuuuge when stacked with one with the normal midscoop...

I am 100% convinced that the tall font Russian Muff is the best of all Muffs! I fucking love it to no end and already want to start hoarding more.
