We play a game here when we roll down the highway called the meth sign game. When one appears, the last person in the vehicle to touch the roof has to try meth. If they already have, they have to try heroin. If they have had that then they have to snort dried up battery acid. If they've had that its on to the fun stuff...



No one's made it past the battery acid yet for some reason...

When I lived in Minnesota I'd see meth signs all the time. Surprisingly not quite as prominent in Wisconsin. Also surprising, heroin is.

I actually go to school in the county which is the meth capital of the US, White County, AR. It's pretty ridiculous around these parts, worse than the crack problems I experienced when growing up outside Detroit atleast.

Never plan to. I've seen waaaaaaaay to many friends kinda drop out of life, and its only a matter of time before I see em in the paper. Either on the front or unfortunately the back.

I'm lucky in that I don't really have an addictive personality.

Meth is especially dangerous (as is Smack) and I value my health and while most of my friends steer clear,....I've seen plenty of toothless grins in my town to know that this shit is not to messed with.

I've got too much to loose and to be honest,...my life is fairly in order and generally satisfactory to the point that I don't need a fix to escape. I don't have everything,...but I don't need everything to feel like my life is complete. I think it's that sort of escapism from despair that draws people into these sorts of addictions. Unfortunately escaping isn't a solution to your problems.
