No you're not! There's no way to enhance a nice dry cider, it's basically the perfect drink.

I guess yeah ha. Apple cider here isn't implied as alcoholic, though you can get it.
But non-alcoholic apple cider is 100000x better than the shit they sell all year round as "apple juice."

Ah, ok, didn't realise that, here cider only means the alcoholic drink. Yeah, I bet schnapps with non-alcoholic cider could be a pretty nice drink!

I don't like sweet cider, so adding schnapps would ruin it for me.

schnaps... sweet?
dude... you've obviously never been here... the schnaps is added to control the fermentation. It's not a sweetener... at all. You add it in small amounts to get it "harsher" or "smoother"... you know.. it's all about the fermentation.

That sounds really interesting! Can't believe this was all misunderstandings on my part, I am not doing well today!

That's what I did with the cinnamon schnaps, but again it was just juice hahaha. CROSS CULTURAL CONFUSION.
But yeah I want to try some of schlatte's cider cuz it sounds really good.
