If you had an army of elves and animal slaves, you could make the best fucking circus.
I'm sure Tom Dalton, or Alan at Moutainking could give you a few pointers on how to go about licensing and everything, if you were interested in doing that. You make some very cool, very interesting stuff. I cannot forsee you having any problem in finding people who'd want to get involved.

I have a full on erection.
"I am secretly designing a looper. hi-fi this time. currently up to 16bit 66khz, pitch=bendable down to 1khz. 10 seconds looping at a very acceptable-sounding 22khz. I want to also have a pitch-keeping time-stretch knob that can also go in reverse. the middle of the knob would be hold for instance. and a resonant LPF with crude delay capability. loop-start and loop-end cropping also essential. basically inspired by the timefactor, SMM/H, and PDS-8000. I am using all-new hardware and chips for this.
which got me thinking. you know that orange glitcher sampler pedal I put out several weeks ago? it doesn't sound good at all. it's totally useless on guitar it might as well be a harsh fuzz or noise generator. I'm thinking I should use my new fangled chips on it instead, which would sound great! of course it would mean a near redesign....."

Re: Sonic Crayon GAS!
aiming for the droner's ultimate looper, hopefully. I don't really give a shit about BPM, phrase looping or structure. I wanna loop some ebowed guitar, synths, vocals and sounds then freeze/warp/glitch/drone the crap out of it!
the 7-seg led display is gonna be a headache. I just realize last night (after I had made this composite image) that three groups of two isn't gonna cut it.
the first double digit is where the loop starts, in seconds and fractions, by default 0.0 when you start a new loop. this can be overriden by the "point A" knob to do some non-destructive cropping. the display updates consequentally. the second double digit is the location of the "playback head" at any given moment. the third is the loop's end, overriden by "point B". slowing down the speed updates all digits accordingly. then it hit me, what if I slow it down to more than 9.9 seconds? fuck! I don't have enough digits.
9 7-seg digits is gonna take too much room. I gotta figure out a better solution. I'd use an LCD but I can't easily cut squares in metal. at least not cleanly.
