Any thoughts on the best place to do noise shows now?
Floating Labs and a few others are gone. Lemp seems to have fallen off and I have past issues with them anyway.

The Demo is a new place in Maplewood. Run by the guy that does booking for Firebird. It sounds decent, but I don't get why venues keep popping up in St. Louis.
I'm selling my Hot Rod Deville 212 (MIA) if anyone is interested. $450 for ILFers.

I just went to see a noise show a few weeks ago at mushmaus.
https://www.facebook.com/mushmausSTL?fref=tsI wish whoever bought out Baha Rock Club in St Charles and renamed it Rockers....welll... I wish that fucker would actually book real bands. No offense to anyone in a cover band, but that is the only venue in St Charles that could host a decent band. BUT NO ITS ALL TERRIBLE COVER BANDS.

I've played at mushmaus
They are getting shows and stuff, so I guess I could just do it again.
I'm not crazy about the stairs and how huge it is...
but what the hell.

Yo dudes, Eagles of Death Metal is playing a free show on May 18th at the Arch Front, part of some "Landmark Series Tour" where bands play specific landmarks throughout the country.
Sonic Youth played something similar years ago, also on an Arch front stage, and it ruled.
