Pretty sure the dinos in the film were some kind of Deinonychus sp, much bigger Cretaceous dromaeosaurs ... still much smaller than in the movie though.
Anything with a Thagomizer is OK in my book though
Yes, I know all about Deinonychus. But they specifically call it Velociraptor mongoliensis in the book.
