Got an exam at 5, I've been up since like 6. This day is dragging. I may be ill.

I'm happy to answer any KWB questions that anyone might have. The explanation above is spot on. I wish I had time to build more, but the day job and commute just suck my time away. I'm trying to sneak some out in the world when time permits.

Thanks!
Ben

:hello: Well hello Ben!!!! Welcome to ILF / ILD! You build one sick pedal for sure, and thanks for coming in here to offer your help! Its definitely appreciated! I would definitely be interested in knowing the next time you have a batch available, I need more overdrive in my life and right now the KWB is at the top of the list. And I feel you on the day job, its hard to get anything done working so much to pay the bills. My commute is kinda awesome though (less then 10 minutes) so I kinda suck in that respect hahaha. Please stick around and check out the forum there's alot of people here who would be interested in your pedal and hearing what you got to offer!

t-rey wrote:I still actually want a new RG from time to time, but I have to remind myself that I never cared for how thin/flat the neck was. You had one of the Apex7 guitars right? That would actually be one of the ones I would look at if I had the spare chance - that flat green looked very snazzy on them.

And I don't really mind TGP - it is just too easy to pick on. I stop by from time to time since some of the hcfx crew post there now.

Yeah, I had an Apex II 7-string. It was a solid guitar, but the pickups were a little flat and dull sounding and the natural resonance wasn't there. I loved the look of that guitar and the smooth finish everywhere felt awesome.

I don't mind TGP either. I sometimes go over there and have a chat if it's something I'm interested in. But they are very easy to make fun of.

Awesome!!

I've taken a week off from working out. I probably shouldn't, though, because I need to keep this shit going if I want to see and feel results.

The Wood Wizard wrote:Nah dude, those mounting holes look fucked to hell and the baffle is pretty weak looking. you did well getting a new box.

What are the dimensions of yours? Its a 2 x 15 right?

Nah I got a 4x12 for now...still haven't decided whether or not the 2x15 I end up with in the future is gonna reside best in my loop/fx amp or on my main.

So I started my matamp/orange amp build in earnest. I am just missing a few things that I didn't think to order like the screws to attach the transformers to the chasis, but otherwise I have everything. I am also finalizing the layout for everything up top before I drill any holes.

Wow, looks just like mine that I scored for $300 with the original speakers. I know it's beat but I love the way it looks:
