475 is a high price, let alone a high 'starting bid'.

Yeah, so perhaps it isn't so hard to keep waiting. But I haven't seen too many on ebay, and thought at least it's a data point on current pricing. In any case, thanks for the reality check.

One thing to note about the DC2: it doesn't have a triangle waveform, so if you're looking for that you will have to stick with the DC-1.

On the other hand, I flipped my ammo box after owning it for like 2-3 years and I haven't felt badly about not having it (also b/c it went to good hands, which eases the pain).

Yes, I noticed that on the DC2e page, along with the external VCO patch option. However, I have yet to go down that modular rabbit hole.

May I ask if you've replaced the DC with something else? Any recommendations on alternates for knuckle-dragging guitarists such as myself? If this tangent belongs in another thread, please let me know.

Don't worry about being off topic, this is what we do. Discussions in a discussion forum, how shocking!

Yeah I swapped it out for a Shruthi XT (and, actually, sold my DC to the guy who sold me the Shruthi, ILF'er Ritz). I'd say that while they don't directly overlap, the Shruthi does more of what I wanted the DC to do -- slow sweeps, controlled droning, etc. The charm of the DC is that you send it on it's merry way and it will make musical sounding things of varying use (that and the filter sounds sublime), but the actual control you have over what it's doing is fairly negligible.

0 positive feedback, only 4 transactions, invoking tits to sell pedals.
Yeeeeeaaaaah, that's a little sketchy.

Also, "this overdrive pedal delivers echo effects." :wha?: :?:

Soooo, I shouldn't use the shots I took of me rubbing my pedals on my junk when I flip them?
Lighten up, man. Everything's better with junk.

I put the camera/phone down when things heat up. I can't concentrate and I need both hands after the coldness of the pedals and the flaccid nature of my jank start to work their mojo on each other and thermal exchange begins.
I'm not thinking of sales or advertising photos at that point.
But I am thinking about a money shot.
