Artutias are usually built pretty cheaply. They work, and are usually good bang for your buck, but don't expect anything too fantastic

I can see that, my BeatStep Pro is built pretty well though and so far with my limited use I love that thing. I like that this keyboard has everything in it with a dedicated power for it compared to my QuNexus.

People are already posting about using the Keystep in their setups with Octatracks and modular shit on r/synthesizers, and seem pretty happy with it overall. It doesn't seem like the most amazing keyboard in the world, but it's interesting and cheap. If you're someone who cares about key feel though, i'd highly recommend trying it out before buying bc Arturia has specific feeling keyboards. Of course, you could wait a year for the Keystep Pro to come out.

OR JUST PICK UP THE 12 VOICE 24 DCO ANALOG POLYSYNTH WITH BUILT IN STEREO DIGITAL EFFECTS THAT BEHRINGER IS PUTTING OUT?
I'm going to wait for that to be cheap on ebay, personally.

That behringer sounds amazing until it break 6 months in. :idk:  Or maybe I'm wrong and behringer are trying to change their ways, lets hope that happens.

Made a thread for this topic, but that has not been my experience of new Behringer products for some time?

keystep > beatstep for me. It does feel cheap and disappointing when first unboxing but it is instant gratification when in use. It is basically just a sketch pad and arpegiator...the sequencer is ok but kinda silly when trying to start over sometimes, but for just apeggiations on older synths (like my amdek), it is perfect for the price (key in the notes, press hold...good enough). Sure, the keys kinda suck and it's plastic, but still better than my old maudio stuff I had that cost 2x more back in the day. I just wish it had midi thru.

Don't know about clock drift or anything, but it seems ok so far.
