You should get both of those slim phattys and chain them into a two voice moog. scoop them up every once in a while when there's a good deal, eventually build a 6 voice moog. Do it, so i can live vicariously through you.wfs1234 wrote:There's an amazing deal on a Moog Slim Phatty on ebay right now. SOMEONE BUY THIS SO IT WILL STOP TEMPTING ME:

I'd really just like ONE of these for some nice and punchy lead-synth action! But I'm trying to save money, and I need to sell stuff so I can afford the cool limited-run Polypus that Copilot's releasing next monthpsychic vampire. wrote:You should get both of those slim phattys and chain them into a two voice moog. scoop them up every once in a while when there's a good deal, eventually build a 6 voice moog. Just saying, a new synth is never the wrong call. Also i really want to live the duophonic moog happiness vicariously through someone. If i was going to reacquire a moog at this point, i'd go Sub Phatty or Minitaur, probably. Maybe Slim Phatty. I don't know, i probably am not going to have another Moog for a long time. Do this for me, please.wfs1234 wrote:I'd really just like ONE of these for some nice and punchy lead-synth action! If I hadn't maxed my gear budget for the year already, I'd definitely get one to run with my minilogue. Having a fat moog synth for leads and backing it up with the minilogue would be REALLY nice. I wonder if I can set the minlogue sequencer to control the internal synth and use the keyboard to control an external synth....psychic vampire. wrote:Just saying, a new synth is never the wrong call.
