Thanks buddy!!!
If your looking for a super simple sequencer check out fruity loops, its super easy to use and comes with a bunch of stock sounds. Recording guitar over top is near impossible but you can sequence the drums then export them and arrange it in your DAW of choice.

New Elements finish in case yall haven't seen it yet. I think it's incredibly snazzy looking. And there's just something so appealing about such heavy sounds coming out of such a peaceful and pretty looking pedal.

I just the hilarious realisation that Skip's daughter's boyfriends are going to have to meet him. You could cause so many teenage boys to cry in fear mate.

Hey Ax, all women have a baby phobia...until they get one of their own. Heads up.
Also, there are very few olds who are supportive of music and the arts as they don't see any money in it. My dad wanted to (and could have been) one of the first pro surfers when big money sponsorship surfing was emerging in the 70s. His old man said no, cause he didn't see a future in it. It was newfangled at the time. He wanted dad to be a dentist or some shit. So dad dropped out, ran off the rails in his own weird way and became a bricklayer. Since his life was always work, he drilled that into my brother and I. So, no rock and roll or writing career for me.
Dads changed his tune in the past few years though, as my brother has been through massive mental health and drug problems, a lot of which stemmed from his unrelenting desire to be an artist. Dad had to relent, as it's pretty much the only thing my bro is wired to do. They used to want to kill each other, now they get on like a house on fire.
I don't know why I shared that then.
It's such a shame when this happens. Your grandfather's dad probably did the same to his son, as his father did to him, and that's what continues the backwards tradition. It's up to you break the role as a parent and reverse in to something positive and uplifting.
Ancient Astronaught wrote:CaptainBoxman wrote:I'm having great fun imagining this giant 6 and a half foot hairy CANDY GOTH
it was pretty hilarious especially with hair that was down below my nips but shaved on the sides and back (ala maynard keenan circa mid to late 90's). Freaking long sleeve fish net under shirts and bright blue UFO pants, but blasting shit like Entombed and Incantation from my CD walkman that was held together with duct tape. Gah... Looking back the 90's were fuckin weird...
I never went through any fashion phases. I've been wearing the same clothes for years. My music tastes changed, as did I, but outwardly there hasn't been much in the way of changes. I've gotten fatter and hairier and that's it.
