Yeah for sure, if they unified them more stylistically and gave room for more character development there would be some serious feels. I felt like Gunbuster was more in Eva territory whilst Diebuster was in more in Gurren Lagann territory so it's a bit weird putting them together as is, not to mention the gap in time and visual style.
Fourth Eva movie is supposed to be out next year sometime, not sure what's coming up from Gainax after that.

If you're gonna watch psycho pass I'd probably go with the new edit that's airing right now, it'll probably transition better into the second season and movie which are coming up.

its still available on torrent sites, dunno if its the actual edit or just a compilation of the original episodes but it doesn't leave any gaps, it was just cancelled in japan cos of a similar murder incident to the episode content.

New edit has Eleven 1-hour long episodes, instead of 22 half hour ones. The DVD release also comes with the cancelled 4th episode. I've watched the series about 3 times, once online and twice on DVD, both Subbed and Dubbed.

I really dig it, I can't work out if it's underrated or not. It's a bit heavy with it's influences though

So I just realized that I never finished Boogiepop.
Like every time it's mentioned in this thread I was like "how'd that one end again?" then go click on the first episode and be all "oh yeah, I've seen this."
Turns out I'd just watched the first episode like 4 times...

Also Hoozuki no Reitetsu was great if anyone's looking for a not-quite-super-speed comedy.
