the last 90 seconds of this video make me think i could probably hang out with Gearmandude.

I have hung out with him, he's super cool, and honest, since he's not endorsed by any company, so it's nice to hear a guy who has an opnion on just about every peice of gear there is, and no bias.

U shouldve snapped a picture so we could finally find out what the fuck he looks like.

I kno I wanna see the face to thos sick cowboy boots

I did take a picture, actually two. One of him, and then one of him and myself. But he made me promise not to show it and be like "LOOK THIS IS GMD!!!!." I've also been to the guitar store that he works at, it's really awesome!

Ah so that's how he gets all the gear.

But I can respect that he wants to keep up the mystique

That's what I said, but then he was like "Nope, I buy all of that stuff, that you see in the videos. Sometimes people lend me stuff, but I buy most of it." So yah, but he was selling some of his stuff out of his massive collection at the store too.

madmax1012 wrote:i don't understand certain pedal builders prices...according to my logic of zvex, a custom pain and handwiring is 150 more than a vexter series pedal? and then there's companies like trex, whose prices blow my mind.

zvex has no problem selling his pedals so his prices make perfect sense
t-rex is a european company and it isn't their fault that your currency has failed
