I just finished Angel Beats, and oh my goodness the emotions live up to the hype. I actually shed a tear during the last episode. I didn't think it was going to get anymore heavy than Yui's episode. I was wrong.

Although this might be troublesome, but I doubt a live action GiTS will actually get made. Hell, there was talk of a Bubblegum Crisis film that seemingly died in the water and being one of the few guys that legitimately loves that entire series way more than any man should - I couldn't be happier.

I watched the first part of Arise last year but when I realised how infrequent they were gonna be i stopped so I could watch the whole thing at once when it's done. Tempted to continue now though. The first one was interesting.

Watched all six episodes of Diebuster last night. Saw Gunbuster a couple of years ago, and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Cheesy, but in the good way, and the last Gunbuster-episode is really good. Only recently found out about Diebuster, and that it was made by Eva/FLCL-guys. It was cool, quite entertaining, had that same cheesy goodness, but was a bit to compressed. Should have been twice as long, and maybe a bit more thought out. Visually stunning, though.

Yeah i have a couple of gripes with Diebuster but it was still entertaining. There just felt like there could have been so much awesome character development, and the fanservice was a liiiittle over the top.
Gunbuster is pretty great I reckon, but still kind of rushed.

Yeah, I agree. If Gainax ever does a remake it has a lot of potential to be a great series of around 26 episodes (maybe half Gunbuster and the second half Diebuster). They need to get the fourth Eva-movie ready first though, I've been waiting way too long for that one.

At the moment my list says I plan to watch Angel Beats, Psycho Pass, Boogiepop Phantom, RahXephon and Revolutionary Girl Utena (thanks for the tips, guys). I also have Noein laying around, but not sure if I'll like it or not. Need to give it a try, though.
