ive never even read the books i cite. I just read the free parts and force it to work as a cite

Dude like citations are sooooooo bullshit. I did this with 85% of all of my essays even when i got actual books, I'd just find a paragraph i could twist to support my argument and paraphrase or cite in text even if it was taken completely out of context .

Best idea I've ever heard: quote from obscure books, check out the only copy of the book that's in the school library. Keep it until the end of the semester so that no one can actually check your source.

i was listening to segment on the radio the other day getting people to call in to say how they fluked there essays in uni and they said the fullstop enlarging thing to extend the word count too
