Hey,
I'm David. I thought I should post here since I just registered. I'm relatively new to this forum business, even if I posted a bit on Pearl Drummers Forum a couple of years ago. I play guitar and drums. I love music and guitar - I sort of lost the connection I used to have with drums as an instrument. I'm still a better drummer than guitarist though and good drummers are rare here, so no one wants me to play guitar in their band... haha
I like things like The Birthday Party, Björk, and Iggy Pop's The Idiot album. Oh, and Blank Generation by Richard Hell. I heard My Bloody Valentine for the first time a while ago and have been listening to their Loveless album a lot. Mostly I just like things that haven't been done 1000 times before.
I'm also obsessive and wierd. Last week some stranger called me unpleasant. I dunno..
My current rig is a Squier CV50 Telecaster going through a Devi Ever Torn's Peaker and Boss DD-3 into a Laney CUB12R. Got a lot of planned purchases though.

Hey, i've been kickin' around here for a few months so i figure should get around to introducing myself already. My name is Zack, I'm 22 and I love chicken nuggets, Nicholas Cage, collecting gear, and making a shitload of noise. I play bass in a (mostly) Improvisational Jazz/Noise/Punk band ( i hate genre definitions and fusing them together but it works well to describe the sound). I currently live in god damned St.John's Newfoundland, but interestingly enough, I am originally from a tiny town (pop. >300) named Dildo ( South Dildo to be exact) which is also located in Newfoundland.

So are the road signs and stuff often stolen?
Also,
The name, then written as "Dildoe", was first applied to Dildo Island, located offshore from the present-day town of Dildo. This use was recorded in 1711 and 1775, and the name was thereafter applied to the Dildo Arm of Trinity Bay and other local physical features.

The road signs are consistently missing, as are the signs from the neighboring towns of Spread Eagle and Broad Cove. There's also a town mascot named "Captain Dildo" who has been kidnapped on a few occasions, and we have an annual Dildo Days celebration. Which is kind of a week long festival. Newfoundland is a strange place.

Hi, I'm Sean.
I like dirtpedals and fuzz pedals. And guitars, amps, grindcore, doomsludge, punk rock, blues punk and putting out records and tapes and making electronoisegrind.
I'm here because I've lurked + want to trade and buy some pedals and shoot the forum crap.

Love three out of the four of those... I didn't get my driver's license on the first try cuz I told the tester I was going to see the Minutemen when I got my license! Never got another chance to see them.

Melt Banana crashed at my place once, and were super nice on their next, much bigger, tour too. And I've always wanted to start a Guitar Wolf tribute band! I was joking with an old roomie, telling him I could start the white trash Guitar Wolf-fuzz punk duo his record label surely
needed.
