what's the scenario with the double double delay on that monster? seriously looks awesome.

There are two parts to it really:
the initial delay line is sent to a switch, and on that switch you can have your normal 50k delay pot, or you can switch over to a 100k pot which doubles the delay time. Then off of that same inital delay line is the tape speed footswitch, which introduces another potentiometer into the delay line- so you can for example have the clock speed on normal, have the delay pot be about 500ms, then set the tape speed footswitch to be a slapback. Or with the clock speed set to double, you can have a LONG delay, and set the tape speed to be a medium or short delay

And Jwar- when you get it, let me know if you want me to mod it to be higher gain for you and I'll do it!
Awesome! I'll check it out and see how it sounds now, but moar gain, sounds soooooooooo good. lol

way to smart for me to understand but sounds flipping awesome

After I build it I definitely want to make a video of all the features so if someone wants me to build them a delay they can pick and choose which features they want out of the video

Dirge pedal is here!!!!!!!!
The only thing I'd like to change on this guy is maybe throwing it in a bigger enclosure so the footswitches can be at the bottom together. My stupid feet are too sloppy to hit the staggered switches, then again, it's not that big a deal.
Maybe I could have Dan do another etch for it? That would be tight yo. For now it's legit though! Fucking fuzz for days!
Can you tell me the controls and what the footswitches actually do though? I feel kind of lost. Me so stupido.

Yeah dude no problem
If I can remember correctly:
Left most footswitch is Gloom 2, next is boost, then gloom 1, then oscillation, then master bypass all the way right
Toggle is for transistor swapping, red knob is oscillation control
top row is boost, then the three middle knobs for both rows are pre gain circuit gain and master volume (I cant rember the order) and then I can't remember what the top most right one is ahah

Giant pedal is blowing my mind! Best impulse gear decision I have ever made!

I'm almost done mounting the hardware in it, I'll get a shot of the guts as a giant tease when I get home!

GUTS SO FAR:

I'm going to start initial wiring tomorrow. Realized since I expanded on my original thoughts for the boost (adding a master volume knob) and expanded the SSStampede to also be a Gloom to be more tame (and also adding a pregain control) that I gotta order two more pots for it. But that is everything sans those two pots.
Took a break tonight and had some spare shit laying around and I threw this dirty boost together really quick and I have to say it might honestly be my favorite LOUD dirty boost that I've played even though that sounds kind of conceited. It's an NPN germanium boost with a trimpot that biases the transistor and allows you to set how dirty the boost gets. It's loud as HELL. Like I barely have to put it past 2 for it to start pushing the amp more than its pushing the pedal. I think this might end up being the next Dirge production pedal!
