I'm with you there. Fuck resale value. Mod that classic and make it yours forever. No point owning an instrument if it doesn't do what you want it to.

Pretty sure that Mustang is also the only blue guitar I've ever liked. Purty.


I ditched the middle pickup like I never thought I would in favor of a neck/bridge setup.
I took two pairs of channel locks and snapped the bar magnets under each pickup so that only the neck would transmit the bass string, same for the bridge and the other strings.
It's really freeing to be able to just have at it without giving a shit. I like playing this guitar right now.

Literally the best guitar. I cant even imagine how gnar that thing sounds.

That guitar has mutated a bit since I last remember seeing it. Love it. Now if I can only get my beaters past the "how the fuck do I repair this" stage, I'd be set.....

'01 American Standard Strat I picked up in a trade recently. It's pretty sweet; but I already have a Strat, so this one's being flipped. The plan is for this to turn into a nice acoustic, probably a Larrivee.

Yeah that's me! It's pretty awesome, if I didn't have a '93 Strat Plus I'd be keeping this one. If you're interested, the ILF bro price is definitely lower than the random craigslist stranger price.
