what in the everloving fuck is going on with those pickups? they look like they were made by someone with presbyopia and diplopia.

those pickups would bother me less if the additional poles were all oriented symmetrically. you can see they're off from a camera shot away. the installation screws also look strange crammed into that arrangement.
