That looks pretty rad actually.
Was the Bit Commander a PLL?
Looks like they're aiming for the white whale.

I don't think the Bit Commander is a PLL.
The Data Corrupter looks like it shares a lot of stuff from the PLL, but looks like it also leaves a lot out. Definitely interested in hearing what it sounds like.
I actually don't really like the way it sounds. It's all too thin IMO. The 4046 is huge but it has so much more to offer than this. Hell even the Second Voice sounds better. I need to hear this with a bass to make any kind of decision though. I hate the squeally shit from PLL's. I like the octave down crunchy stuff.

^^^100%. Especially regarding the squelly attributes. This is why I don't love the sounds of the original Schumann (I mean, I also don't love the price of the Schumann, but I'm not trying to actively retro-rationalize, because of it).
It's [the data corrupter] a wonderfully laid out pedal though. I may just be being defensive of the 4046m.
I still have hopes for PURPLL . Those sound demos were everything I wanted out of a PLL (I used to not like that sound per Schumann).

I'm going to sit in on the Data Corrupter for a bit wait for reviews and extended use cases and such. The Dimehead PLL I had was amazing, but really required you to set it to what you were going to play, so really a lot of the demos don't match how it actually feels to play the pedal.
I'll see how the tracking circuit of Data Corrupter is though, but so far I really like the simple layout and the graphics are amazing.

I heard those are necessary if you want to write catchy music.
New knob on the Tensor to implement a request from @jonathanhischke. First batch of enclosures & PCBs arrive in early September.

Edit: I was wrong. Having now seen the demo from EQD this thing rips. Everything I wrote below here may be somewhat true for PLLs in general (the knob twiddles), but I retract all EQD content. Whoa.
This x10
Great layout, solid extension beyond the base PLL with the osc, but it's all about the tracking in my limited PLL experience and this sounds all over the place in that dept. Maybe internal controls?
And yeah re: PLL in general- so much knob twiddlin. Can be fun, does get tiring. Lots of time dialing out lasers can be worth it when it starts to arp and latch and hop between octaves in really dynamic and interesting ways. Extreme, and not in the way marketers have ruined that word, but the sounds and experience can be extreme. Extremely annoying/tiring/amazing.
